I was absolutely delighted to be invited to speak at the Breastival for Wise Women event, and it was an honour to be part of such a truly empowering evening. The event brought together so many incredible women and experts, each with their own unique stories and insights.
The evening was organised by women's health advocate Dr Julia Sen and her team, and held at The Angel Hotel in Pershore. I loved how it was filled with such invaluable information; from Jeanne Farley’s deeply moving account of her journey as a breast cancer survivor to Dr Paul Chell and Dr Monique Hope-Ross sharing a wealth of knowledge on nutrition from their book The Diet Whisperer. Vicky Hobbs, from VHK Women's Health, offered practical and much-needed guidance on managing menopausal symptoms, while Jo Price discussed the benefits of manual lymphatic drainage.
I had the privilege of introducing my medical tattooing services and was able to meet many of you personally to discuss how my procedures, including nipple tattooing and scar camouflage, can play a crucial role in physical and emotional healing.
I genuinely found it so moving to hear stories and connect with women, many on their own journeys of recovery and self-care, and I was thrilled to answer questions about how my services can help restore confidence after life-changing experiences.
Being part of this event has reinforced my belief in the power of community and shared wisdom. The collective support and knowledge in that room were remarkable, and I’m so grateful to everyone who came, listened and shared their experiences. A special thank you to all the other speakers who contributed their expertise and personal stories - your words made a lasting impact on everyone there.
I look forward to continuing to support women through my work and being part of more empowering conversations like the ones we had at Breastival for Wise Women.
